It all started when…

For as long as I’ve known anything, I’ve known that expressing myself creatively is what made me happiest. It’s that same creative spark that’s fueled every part of my life — from writing and design to photography and cooking. Whether I’m crafting a story, a visual, or a meal, it all comes down to building something from scratch that makes people feel something.

I’m a born and bred Chicago girl currently based in Richmond, Virginia with an awful case of “Midwest nice.” But don’t let that fool you. After surviving 30 consecutive Chicago winters, I take pride in the gumption I carry.

When I’m not cooking up creative, I’m usually cooking up something in the kitchen — or doing something, somewhere outdoors, feeding my insatiable appetite for wanderlust and spending every spare second snuggling up to my Great Dane, Lola.
